This week's puzzle is a 2.5/5 difficulty offering from the brilliant pair of Peter Gwinn and Karen Lurie called "If You Have to Ask ..." The constructors write: "We only just e-met a few months ago, and are contributors to AVCX Trivia (where Karen is also an editor). We have both written for NPR comedy quiz shows, have each seen They Might Be Giants in concert at least 5 times, and while Peter was writing for The Colbert Report, Karen was writing for the official Colbert Report website, Colbertnation.com. Also, at different times, we both lived in the exact same neighborhood in Brooklyn (where Karen still lives). Other than that, we have nothing in common. This is Peter's AVCX Classic (where Karen is also an editor) debut."

Lastly! The three randomly chosen winners from our recent meta mini contest were contacted by email this morning. 158 people bought or renewed subscriptions to get a copy of the meta pack (which you can in fact still do!), and 60 of those people submitted the correct answer to the meta for a chance to win a copy of Natan Last's new crossword book, Across the Universe.
