Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends:

Aimee Lucido has a 17x17 called "Jump Shots" this week. It's 3/5 difficulty.

We hope the puzzle can bring some needed distraction and happiness. The AVCX is doing fine, whatever fine is now. Everyone will be paid fully and on-time, etc. If you know anyone at all who might derive even an hour a week of cleared head space from solving the crossword, do not hesitate to send them our way with a standing offer of a free subscription (editor@avxwords.com).

Like many parents right now, I'm home with my kids, all the time. Among our activities is making a (hopefully) daily 5x5 crossword together, and posting them on Twitter @avcxword. I'm trying to let their weird five- and seven-year old brains inform the cluing, within limits. Maybe that is something that can be nice right now.
