Dear Friends:
It's a guest constructor week! Anna Shechtman's "Feminist Movements" is 5/5 difficulty. Anna's a longtime friend of the AVCX, and ran a fantastic puzzle called "Flipping the Script" with us a while ago. Welcome back, Anna!
Meanwhile, last week's promised announcement is here, and it's a big one: constructors Laura Braunstein and Tracy Bennett have just launched a Kickstarter project for a new puzzle feature called the Inkubator, which will be run, constructed, and edited by women -- cis women, trans women, and woman-aligned people. This is a much-needed space in crosswords, which is largely a boys' club (in byline, in sensibility) despite the deep pool of talent among women constructors and editors. Inkubator will be a biweekly offering, and the puzzles will be top-tier. The puzzle world is very much due for this, and it's going to be an amazing feature. Back their Kickstarter today!
