Meanwhile, the AVCX is interested in increasing our accessibility. We receive emails periodically from solvers suggesting that our annual subscription price is too low--but we get just as many notes from people who have to stretch to pay. We take this to be symptomatic of an inequality that haunts life under capitalism generally, that makes it easy for some to access everything from housing to food to education to entertainment, while others must scramble. In service of those who are structurally disadvantaged, we would like to begin offering opportunities for reduced-price subscriptions, as well as other, more accessible options. We would love to hear from you about specific ideas! In the coming weeks, we'll begin trying some new offers to reach out to financially strained solvers.
