Dear Friends:

We've got a bonus, super-rare early-morning celebrity crossword for you this week! Ira Kaplan constructed it with Ben Tausig. It's called "Scratch That," and clocks in at 2.5/5 difficulty.

Kaplan is the vocalist and guitarist for Yo La Tengo, an all-time-great indie rock band who have a new album, "There's a Riot Going On," out now, and who are currently on tour. This is Ira's second guest puzzle for the AVCX.
