Puzzle Notes

We have a guest puzzle this week, by the fabulous Max Carpenter. It's called "Empty Vessels Make the Most Noise," and is 4/5 difficulty. I think you'll like it a lot. Max is a writer and crossword constructor living in New York, and also an occasional guest film curator at the Museum of the Moving Image. And he tweets intermittently (@solexyoghurt). Super excited to be publishing his work!

Meanwhile I wanted to give a quick but impassioned plug for a new puzzle project called Queer Qrosswords. QQ is, we think, the first of its kind in puzzledom: an-all LGBTQ+ -themed and -constructed set.
