Meanwhile, I'd like to point you to a new crossword blog worth checking out, which is Matt Gaffney's gaffneyoncrosswords.com. Matt's been updating regularly, and he's one of the more thoughtful minds in the business. I'll note in particular that he named Anna Shechtman's AVCX puzzle "Flipping the Script" as September's crossword of the month.

Finally, apologies to those who tuned in to Weekend Edition last Sunday on NPR in hopes of hearing a feature on independent crosswords that included an interview with me. The segment, which is admittedly pretty evergreen, was pushed back. I'll let you know about the new date when I know it myself.
