Puzzle Notes

Dear subscribers: 

This is the second in our intermittent celebrity puzzle series. "Hello Donut My Old Friend" is a 3.5/5 difficulty collaboration between Patton Oswalt and Caleb Madison.

Mr. Oswalt is an actor/writer/comic/voiceover artist/Twitter champion and now crossword puzzle constructor. His hit standup specials have been on HBO and Comedy Central, and he's been all over television, from The King of Queens to Two and a Half Men to Reno 911!, and as narrator for The Goldbergs. He also voiced Remy in the film Ratatouille. 

Patton, as Ira Kaplan the previous week, was hugely generous with his time in helping to produce this puzzle, which was inspired by one of his original Twitter hashtags. He is @pattonoswalt, and if Twitter is a thing you do, you should be following him.
