Puzzle Notes

Dear friends: 

Patrick Blindauer brings us "Floss," a 3/5 difficulty puzzle, this week. This puzzle has a special note for solving, included with both the digital and print versions.

An announcement: The AVCX is seeking proposals to develop a subscriber management system that can handle our large and growing ecosystem of solvers, deliver puzzles reliably, and other such. If you have relevant experience in this area, or know someone who does, check out the attached RFP (request for proposals). Proposals are due January 10.
