Puzzle Notes

Dear friends:

Our 44th puzzle of the year is by Byron Walden, and is a themeless, our tenth ever. It does sport a mini-theme. It's a 4/5 difficulty, 68-word challenge.

Quick non-puzzle-related plug for one of our beloved constructors: Brendan Emmett Quigley's band, The Boston Typewriter Orchestra, is looking for a little help getting their next release on vinyl. That's right, a band comprised of nothing but antiquated technologies is puttng out an album on an almost-obsolete format. You can back their project to help unlock the stretchgoal of Edison cylnders. (Not one word in this paragraph is false, Brendan says.)

Next week's puzzle is a timely 21x21 from Francis Heaney. Deep breaths. Deep breaths.

Best,

Ben and the AVCX crew [avxwords.com, @AVCXWord]
