June 21st is the Summer Solstice for our Northern Hemisphere solvers, and the Winter Solstice for our Southern Hemisphere solvers. And for all of our solvers in the Arctic Circle: Happy 24 Hours of Sunshine! For everyone who lives north of the Equator, we offer you a dad joke to use on the 21st: just go up to anyone you see and say, "Long day?"

Today's puzzle is from Brian Callahan. Brian is a puzzle maker from Chicago. His crosswords have appeared at AVCX Classic, AVCX+, and Lil AVCX (where he's a 2026 editor/mentor).
