We're very excited to bring you the first puzzle from our 2025 roster of mentees. It's a 10x10 puzzle titled "Perfect Cubes" from Terry Sun, and we think you'll find it fresh and friendly.
Terry (he/him) is a new constructor, sometimes software engineer, who lives in beautiful, foggy San Francisco. Puzzles aside, he likes to cook (and eat and talk about food), and sings in a queer chorus.
Terry says: "Earlier this year, I got the chance to sing in the opera chorus for a community production of Mozart's The Magic Flute. You know how saying the same word over and over again causes it to stop sounding like a real word? This puzzle is brought to you by semantic satiation and a lot of chorus rehearsals."
