Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends:

We believe it was Mahatma Gandhi who said "Be the writer of the AVCX trivia puzzle you wish to see in the world."

We're here to help you make that happen. AVCX Trivia submissions are open! (They never really closed, but we're just reminding you that they're open). The benefits of being an AVCX trivia puzzle writer are numerous.

1. You're guaranteed to get a perfect score because you already know all the answers

2. $150

3. The satisfaction of a job well done

What are we looking for in a trivia puzzle? Good question, we're glad we asked. We like our trivia puzzles like we like our onions: pungent (as in pleasantly stimulating), layered (as in intricately constructed), and if they make us cry, so be it. We kid about the last part, but those first two are accurate, so the onion analogy does have some merit. More details about submitting are on our aptly-named Submit a Puzzle page. We only publish about twice a month, so slots are limited. If our queue fills up, we'll let you know that we've closed submissions.

Our All Questions Correct Answer Getter from our Feb. 8 puzzle is Dena R. Verkuil. Great job, Dena!

Trivia Puzzle #4

Today's puzzle is by Anna Lotto. Anna is a casual puzzle solver and a professional trivia writer. She is thrilled to have her first AVCX trivia puzzle published.

At eight questions, and touching on topics from historical novels to geometry to logos, we hope it's a good stretch for your brain muscles.

Until next time,

T.J., Karen & the AVCX Experience
