Puzzle Notes

Dear friends,

This week's Classic is by Desirée Penner and Jeff Sinnock, making their AVCX debut, and it's edited by Sam Brody, making his editing debut as well. Sam's been working with the editing team for a while (invaluably), and we're really excited to have him in the editor's chair here. The puzzle is 21x21, called "Dark Matter," and 3.5/5 difficulty.

Jeff and Desirée are a crossword-constructing couple from Winnipeg, Canada. They won an Orca award for "Best Puzzle" from 2023. Recently, they have published their first book of crossword puzzles called Name That Tune: A Year in Music. It's a collection of over 50 puzzles for lovers of popular music, available now on Amazon.
