Today we're excited to bring you "Downtrends" from guest constructor David Steinberg. This 10x10 midi is a fresh, fun puzzle that certainly won't leave you feeling "board."

David Steinberg edits the Universal Crossword. These days, he especially enjoys Super Mario Party Jamboree, Everdell, and The Golden Bachelorette.

David says: "You may think this puzzle started with 6-Down, but the right was actually the last section I filled. My inspiration was the 14-Across/4-Down pairing: 27-Across was a happy accident! Many thanks to Olivia and team for asking me to construct a midi!"
