Puzzle Notes
Dear friends:Tonight we're bringing you a puzzle from roster member Katja Brinck. It's an 11x11 called "These Go To 11…" We hope you find it a pleasantly challenging and satisfying solve.
Katja says: "For my 6th and final puzzle as a member of the Lil AVC X roster for 2024 (I can't believe it's the last one already!), my goal was to make a hard puzzle. Most of my construction to date would be considered on the smooth and easy side — a sampling of descriptors of my Lil puzzles for this year include: 'delightful,' 'playful,' 'smooth,' 'breezy,' and 'vibes.' No puzzle was rated above a 2-star difficulty level. So lest you get too comfortable when you see my name on the byline, I hope this puzzle will provide a bit more of a challenge, but still be fun. It's hard to gauge the difficulty level of a puzzle you construct yourself, but all I can say is how much I appreciate the work from everyone at Lil who helped make this puzzle (and all other puzzles) the right level of challenging but still fair and still sharing my voice. This has been a life changing year for me in crossword construction and I am so grateful for the whole community. Happy solving!"
