Puzzle Notes

Dear friends,

David Bukszpan has a highly original, 5/5 difficulty puzzle called "Get Out" this week. Can't wait to hear what people think of it -- for your reference, any feedback you send to us at support@avxwords.com, we pass on to the constructor. Words of praise as well as constructive critique are always appreciated.

Meanwhile, and importantly, the AVCX team has been meeting regularly in recent weeks to plan for our financial situation next year (post-Puzmo), and to think about how to respond to the super useful feedback that approximately 700 solvers (!) generously provided in our recent Google survey. As to the latter, we're actively working right now to set up a revised subscription model where you can choose your price from a menu of options. The content won't change, but you can pay different amounts depending on what you can afford and how much you think the product is worth. Additionally, we're in discussions to embed an online solver on our website. More details on both to come soon! As to the former, we anticipate running a subscription drive during the last eight or ten weeks of this year, with hopes of adding 1,000 new subscribers this year. That number would put us in a good position for next year. We may ask for your help if you have access to good social media channels or other advertorial opportunities.
