Kaye says: "This themed-ish puzzle was based on the realization that the two seeds were both the same length and shared some common letters (among other similarities), which allowed for crossing them as spanners in a diagonally symmetrical grid. The seeds set the tone for much of the fill and clues thereafter, and the vibe of this one might be my favorite so far. I just feel like it really pops, y'know? Enjoy!"
