Puzzle Notes

Hi all,

You're in for a treat this week! Our very own Steve Mossberg has written a fun and gorgeous, multi-layered variety cryptic that's sure to keep you entertained throughout the holiday weekend.

In addition to his editorial duties at AVCX Cryptics, Steve sets cryptic crosswords for The Wall Street Journal, The Independent (as Mog) and at his own Patreon (which I highly recommend!), Square Chase (patreon.com/squarechase). Steve is easily one of THE premier variety cryptic setters on this side of the pond and we feel quite lucky to be solving during the Mossberg Era.
