Puzzle Notes
Hi friends:
This week sees our third-ever themeless puzzle, from Tyler Hinman. 4.5/5 in difficulty, so it should feel a bit more like a "Friday" than a "Saturday," but let us know.
We have two items of errata to report from last week. First, from the contest easter eggs, SOL + WEI don't legitimately combine to create ALWAYS. Close, but a different hissing sibilant. We won't retract the prize or anything, but wanted to express our shame all the same. Second, Margot Adler's grandfather is named Alfred, not Albert; the clue erroneously named the latter.
Terrible job, us!
