Puzzle Notes

Greetings, people of good taste and discernment! I'm happy to report that this week's puzzle is by our own Stella Zawistowski, and exhibits all her usual flair. Besides editing cryptics for AVCX, Stella has posted a weekly #crypticclueaday on Twitter since 2019. Follow her on Instagram -- there's not much there now, but the daily clue and weekly contest will be moving there in the next couple of weeks given that Twitter/X is a hot mess these days.

(I myself am pretty happy on Bluesky, where I'm still honing a parody of "All Star" that begins "SomeBODY gave my house key to STEPHEN Tobolowsky.")
