Hi all,

We're thrilled to be bringing you this debut AVCX cryptic from Enrique Henestroza Anguiano, a puzzle powerhouse and all-around amazing human. He is newer to cryptics, but gosh does he have a great knack for writing inventive clues that have a super fun voice. We hope you enjoy this puzzle! More from the constructor himself:

Enrique is a data scientist and crossword constructor living in Oakland, CA. While he mainly writes American-style crosswords for many of your favorite venues, he has recently taken a shine to cryptics, with the equal parts devilish and joyous wordplay that this format incites. Many thanks to a bunch of cryptic folks for guidance and discussions, but especially to Nate for his amazing mentorship and editing. Finally, with this puzzle, Enrique has now "hit for the cycle" at AVCX'he's thrilled to have gotten the chance to collaborate with so many talented folks across the AVCX cinematic universe, and he looks forward to more!
