Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends:

This week we have a puzzle coming to you from our very own Chris King. A proud member of the AVCX team, Chris King is the operator of Palmetto Trivia in South Carolina, author of the weekly blog "Chris Words" for Geeks Who Drink's Questionist newsletter, and is a contributor to the BBC quiz show "Only Connect". He is currently planning a wedding.

Also, congratulations to last week's randomly selected All Questions Correct Answer Getter (trademark pending): Jim Kaye! Last week's puzzle was especially tough, so we will give Jim 5 extra points on the all-time AVCX Trivia leaderboard, if we ever create such a leaderboard. For now, we'll soon have a little tribute to them over on the @avcxtrivia Twitter.
