Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends:

Apologies for the John confusion from last week's puzzle. Holiday brain and all that. Thank you to everybody who pointed it out! We updated it on the Google form as soon as we realized the mistake, but the error remains in the pdfs. The pdfs which, by the way, contain the solutions to that week's quiz for those of you who want to see the answers but don't want to submit an official response.

Next time we're hoping to have a championship puzzle for you by your three editors--Aimee, Mike, and Chris--but this week we have a lovely puzzle for you by Wendy L. Brandes. Wendy (she/her) is a lawyer, professor and children's book author. She is very grateful to Aimee and to the ACVX testers and editors for their support and brilliant edits.
