Dear friends:

This puzzle officially begins the offerings of the 2024 Lil AVC X team, though you had a preview with Olivia's puzzle last week. We're starting off with puzzles from the 2024 leadership team and editors while our 2024 roster members work on their first puzzles. We're looking forward to bringing you another great year of midis!

Today's puzzle is a 15x15 (only technically ... you'll see when you open it!) by Will Eisenberg that is aptly titled "Decent Fill, but the Grid Shape's a Big Plus." It's packed with personality all the way from the title to the fill to the clues, and we hope you'll enjoy its wide range of references.

Will says: "This grid came from just messing around with black square patterns in Ingrid. It was a joy to be able to fit so much fun and personal stuff into it. I can't wait to see what Lil AVC X has in store for 2024!"
