Puzzle Notes

Hi friends: 

Byron Walden's puzzle this week, "One Thing on Top of Another," is ... hard. It's labeled 5/5, but 6/5 might be apt. It's a 66-worder, for those keeping count. Might take a minute. Then again, you people always surprise me!

Anyway, good luck, and know that we've got a string of easy (not to say unexciting) themes coming up from Francis, Tyler, and Aimee, and Erik's got another easier-than-average meta in the hopper. Meanwhile, we're gathering some real fine bonus puzzles for the fall and winter.
