If you're a fan of themeless puzzles, good news: AVCX friend and editor extraordinaire Peter Gordon is reviving his former Washington Post puzzler as an independent feature. It's called the Fireball Postmodern Puzzler, and you can sign up for it here. It's a 52-times-a-year tough themeless crossword and is distinct from Fireball Crosswords (45 times a year, themed and themeless) and Fireball Newsflash Crosswords (20 times a year, based on the news). Just a few days left; it's some of the best themeless work you'll find anywhere.
