Puzzle Notes

Hey there! It's time once again for a beginner-friendly mini cryptic from editor/constructor/tweeter/good pal Stella Zawistowski. For anyone who doesn't already know the deal: multiple versions of the puzzle are available, offering different kinds of solving assistance: the Hints PDF breaks down each clue into its component sections, and the Wordplay Type PDF tells you the wordplay to watch for in each clue. And the answer PDF tells you the answers! We think that last one is a particularly helpful innovation which we are proud to have invented.
