This week's puzzle is by David Karp, and team-edited by Francis Heaney, Paolo Pasco, Ben Tausig, Quiara Vasquez, and Byron Walden. It's called "Foreign Interventions," it's 3/5 difficulty, and it has the strange grid size of 15x17.
David Karp (he/him) lives in Victoria, BC, Canada with his wife and fifteen-month-old son. David is currently on leave from his job as an economic policy adviser with the BC provincial government to be a stay-at-home dad. He started constructing crosswords in 2020 as a pandemic hobby and has since been published in several major venues. Besides being a dad and making crossword puzzles, David's hobbies include cooking, travel and playing piano, floor hockey and soccer.
And an update in re: Kickstarter rewards -- the wonderful Ricky Cruz has completed and sent out all the pixel portraits, for those who ordered them. Thanks, Ricky!
Last but not least, a plug: Registration is now open for the Boswords 2023 Winter Wondersolve, an online crossword tournament which will be held on Sunday, February 5 from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Eastern.
