Puzzle Notes

Dear friends,

Themeless this week (we're running them about once every two months these days) from the Classic. It's by Christina Iverson, and 4.5/5 difficulty.

From the constructor: "I live in Ames, IA with my husband, two young kids, and mother-in-law. I am currently working full time as an editor for the New York Times crossword, and still try to construct whenever I can."

"I'm one of the editors for the upcoming charity puzzle pack 'Grids for Kids.' The website (gridsforkids.com) isn't running quite yet, (check back soon!) but the puzzle pack should be available in February. The puzzles are all constructed by parents, and include a suite of puzzles for kids of all ages, as well as puzzles of various sizes with themes about kids, families and parenting. The puzzle pack will be available to anyone who donates to a youth-focused charity."
