Puzzle Notes

Dear friends,

This week's Classic is on the easy side -- a 1.5/5 difficulty puzzle by Drew Schmenner, who we're very delighted to work with and run something from! It's called "Heading South."

Drew lives in Pacifica, California, just south of San Francisco, with his wife and two daughters (5 and 2). His older daughter's discovery of language rekindled his love of wordplay and sparked his interest (or is it addiction?) to crosswords. As an avid Pacers, Colts, and Cubs fan, he hasn't forsaken his Midwestern roots.
