Puzzle Notes

Matt Gritzmacher and Brooke Husic's "Say What I Say" is 3/5 difficulty. This one's edited by Francis Heaney, and it's lots of fun.

Matthew is finance director for a nonprofit and operates the Daily Crossword Links newsletter, which celebrates its second birthday later this month. He reviews puzzles a couple days a week at Diary of a Crossword Fiend, enjoys test-solving, and encourages solvers to find a puzzle from someone new to them, and let constructors know when you enjoy their work.

Brooke is extremely honored to collab with Matthew for his debut crossword.

Two items! First, you may have noticed that there weren't midis on Monday and Tuesday this week. That's by design. The expansion puzzles are on a three-weeks-on-one-week-off schedule throughout the year, with a couple of slightly longer vacations. The Classic puzzles continue every single week. The expansion content will return on Sunday night. Second, our new website is live! Check out the slick new design, courtesy of Giovanna Salucci. We've been working through some hiccups (including an issue with puzzle downloads that's now resolved; sorry!) over the past few days, and it's starting to feel like a digital home. More bells and whistles will be added over time.
