Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends:

We're excited to share the second trivia game of the year with you. It's a puzzle by Michael Lieberman and it's a toughie, coming in at around 4/5 difficulty.

This week, we're doing things a little bit differently. Since the hype week competition got such a positive response, we're going to try to do something like that more often. That is to say, we want to offer you a way to submit your answers back to us and also a way to reward those of you who got them all correct. So this week, in addition to a printable pdf attachment at the bottom of this email, we're also including a button that goes to a Google form where you can read the questions and submit your answers. If you get all the questions correct you'll be entered to win a prize.

But the thing is, we don't have a lot of... what's the word for it? Oh yeah. Money. So every week we're going to randomly select one person who gets all the questions correct (or, barring that, the person who gets the most questions correct) and we will feature them on the Twitter! We'll change our profile photo to a photo of the winner's choosing and congratulate them in our bio. In addition, we will offer them the opportunity to write a trivia question or fun fact that we will tweet out to our millions (read: dozens) of followers. Then, at the end of the year, we'll pick one of these lucky winners to receive the *~*grand prize*~*. We're keeping it a secret for now (so, ya know, we can change it if we want to), but suffice it to say that it'll be fun, puzzle-y, and, most importantly, extremely low cost to us. So put your thinking caps on and we hope you enjoy this week's trivia game!
