Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends:

We're thrilled to launch the all-new trivia feature today! This first puzzle comes in at around a 2/5 difficulty, and it's written by Matthew Luter. Matthew is a teacher and writer in Jackson, MS. He posts a new crossword every Tuesday at matthewluter.com/crosswords.

Just a few style notes, since we're still in the early days of this feature: there are two different versions of the puzzle pdfs attached below, one optimized for printing and one optimized for reading on mobile. The content should be identical, but the fonts and margins are different. Also, the solutions are printed on the final pages of the pdfs with one blank page in between to help avoid spoilers, but we would love to hear feedback on how these formats work for you.
