Dear friends:
Today's bonus puzzle commences what we have internally been calling "hype week" -- a six-day sample of the kinds of puzzles you can expect to get if (when! when!) our Kickstarter campaign reaches its funding goal.

Today's puzzle, aptly titled "A sample of what's to come", is 9x8 in size, clocking in at 3/5 difficulty. It's constructed by Chris Piuma and edited by Enrique Henestroza Anguiano.
Chris Piuma is one of the Lil AVC X editors. Chris has a crossword blog and streams indie crosswords on Twitch -- and is also the host of a podcast about "great books" and a game show featuring trivia from the 1930s.
Enrique Henestroza Anguiano is also one of the Lil AVC X editors. Enrique writes crosswords for USA Today, posts indie puzzles and other musings on Datalexic, and co-maintains Spread the Word(list), a free resource for newer constructors.
