Puzzle Notes
Dear friends,
We have a very lovely and special puzzle this week from Jeffrey Martinovic and William Yuan, called "Jockeying for Position" at 4/5 difficulty. It's 21x21. A digital version (.puz format) is included, but we suggest solving the PDF if you can, or at least looking at the PDF before you solve. We've included both a single-page PDF as well as a two-page version with larger font.
William and Jeffrey are two students at Western University in London, Ontario. William is an aspiring doctor, majoring in microbiology and Jeffrey is a mechanical engineer. They've known each other since high school, where they met in math class on the first day of Grade 9. They have worked together on a few puzzles in the past, but the idea for this "Magnus Opus" was proposed by William, ironed out by Jeffrey, and collaboratively constructed over the course of a few years and many failed attempts. They hope you have as much fun solving it as they did creating it!
