Dear Friends:
Next weekend is Trivia 56: The Love Contest, which is the 56th annual trivia contest put on by 90FM, the student radio station at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The contest, billed as the "world's largest," is a 54-hour marathon of on-air questions. But before that happens, there's a "Trivia Parade." And there's also the "Trivia Stone," a scavenger hunt filled with riddles that sends teams running throughout town.
We're just learning about this, but surely we have some readers in the Central Wisconsin area who are more familiar with this event. Have you played in it? Reply and let us know, we'd love to hear more about it!

Today's puzzle is from Karen Lurie. Karen is a comedy and game show writer whose crossword puzzles have appeared in most of the mainstream and indie "usual suspect" venues, including the AVCX Classic, where she is also an editor.
