Hello, fellow cryptids! I think all the other AVCX+ features are taking this week off, but we're not! (Don't get too excited, it just means we'll take a different week off later.) But wait, get excited again!!, because we've got a fab puzzle for you by our own Stella Zawistowski. If you can't get enough of Stella's puzzles, you can find many others in the New Yorker's cryptic archives. Those are a little easier than the one she's written for us, so if you get stuck here, maybe loosen up over there and then come back for another try!
