Today we've got a guest bonus, and a world debut! Happy weekend. This is "Picking Apart" by Dee Williams, at 2/5 difficulty, and edited by Aimee Lucido (who mentored Dee these past couple months) and Ben Tausig.
Dee is a graduate student at Northeastern University, studying Experience Design with a focus on design for education, civic engagement, and environmental justice. She's super excited about her debut and grateful for the opportunity to have been mentored by Aimee. When she's not solving (or, lately, constructing) crosswords, she enjoys tabletop gaming, taking out way too many books at a time from the library, and vegan baking. She lives in Cambridge, MA with her fiance, their roommate, and a large family of very ugly spiders that like to build webs in their corners.
Dee and some friends are currently working on getting Giant Food Games, an indie RPG and board game publishing group, off the ground. They're interested in making heavily thematic games with unexpected setups and unique mechanics. If this sounds like your thing, you can sign up for their listserv at giantfoodgames.com to be notified about releases (they promise they won't spam you). Expect their debut release--a two-pack of free-to-play one-shot RPGs--to drop soon!
