Puzzle Notes

Dear Friends:

Have we passed the statute of limitations on wishing you all a happy New Year? To be safe, we'll just say welcome to another year of AVCX Trivia. If you haven't heard, AVCX has secured enough funding to continue producing puzzles in 2025. Thanks again to all of our subscribers, past, present, and future.

Before we get into the puzzle, we'd like to give a virtual standing ovation to our 2024 Champions. Four of our All Questions Correct Answer Getters (AQCAG) from 2024 also submitted a perfect Championship puzzle. Put your hands together for: Jim Kaye, Mel, Eli Selzer, and Kelsey Dixon! They'll be rewarded with a modest prize from us, but this is the sort of thing that you can't really put a price on.

For those of you who have resolved to be an AQCAG this year, your first chance awaits.

Today's puzzle is from T.J. Szafranski, who recently joined the AVCX Trivia team. T.J. is a former youngest child turned middle child whose love of trivia started with the back of baseball cards. He's got six questions for you, including one Best Picture nugget that will be sure to impress at your next Oscars party.
