Puzzle Notes

Hello again, friends -- we're back on our regular schedule, and this week we're happy to present a cryptic debut by Danny Reichert! Danny is a software developer and native New Yorker who lives in Chelsea with Madeline, his maltepoo. He reports that, after several published standard crosswords, he couldn't be more delighted to have his first cryptic published by AVCX.
